Christmas songs always add an extra boost of joy in our lives, whatever time of the year we are in. This Christmas song released by SR creations does the same; bring a smile to our faces and adds extra pep to our step when we hear it.
An Evening With SR Creations And Their Mesmerizing Star Of Wonder
Recently, I had a chance to talk to some of the members, along with the backbone of SR Creations, Susan Roy. They were meeting to share the happiness of creating The Star of Wonder. I wanted to know more about this beautiful group of artists who had bonded with their love for arts.
SR Creations
Susan Roy, the beautiful mind behind SR Creations launched her YouTube channel in 2020 for encouraging budding artists in the entertainment industry. This is her fifth project. So far, it has been broadcasted during the live show of Cochin Kalabhavan London as well as went till the final round of their grand finale. It has also been widely released on YouTube, MML, and Top tunes.
Susan Roy works as a Clinical Placement Coordinator (UCD nursing students) at St. Vincents University Hospital, in Dublin. She has been working in the medical field for more than 22 years.
Previous Works
The first project of SR Creations was a Christmas album, followed by a devotional song called the Meeval. They had then released an Onam dance which had featured a mix of folk dance, Mohiniyattom, and Thiruvathira. Susan had released an album during the Diwali festival and this was her fourth project. This was shot completely in Dublin and the track was a popular Malayalam song.
The Amazing Crew Of SR Creations
The Star Of Wonder had an amazing crew to beautifully present this Christmas song, written and directed by Susan Roy. The crew was a blend of the beautiful voices of 13 singers, strumming of the guitar by Kevin Antony, drums by Sumesh Tharian, and piano by Chris Joe.
Senu Thomas, music director of this song along with the beautiful orchestra led by Jaison Daniel brought the happy vibes to this Christmas carol by adding a piece of lullaby music. Fast and Faith Media did the audio recording.
Senu Thomas is an alumnus of the prestigious Sree Swathi Thirunal College of Music. He was the former music director of DSMC, Maramon Convention Choirland, and works as a music teacher in MTGHS, Kottarakara, Kerala.
Sreelal Sivaramapanicker is the Creative designer for SR Creations. He is the maestro that ensured that everyone who watches this song is completely mesmerized from beginning to end. Sreelal Sivaramapanicker is a film editor as well as a FEFKA member and is based in Cochin.
Geevarghese George, the person who brought life to this carol song with his beautiful visuals and artwork is the genius behind the camera. Geevarghese is the videographer as well as the editor of The Star of Wonder.
Suresh at Paattupetty Studios, Chengannur, Kerala, did the Mixing and Mastering.
Belvin of Decofun Events recreated the beautiful Bethlehem city in this video. The recording instruments were provided by Soulbeatz.
Jithin Ram did the media promotion, with Rosemalayalam and Irish Indian Chronicles. He also owns Sheila Restaurant in Waterford.
Video Shoot Locations Of Star Of Wonder
GV Photo Studio, owned by Geevarghese George was one of the main locations of this video shoot, along with Dublin City Center and Blanchardstown Shopping Center. They had some funny stories of how the shoot at the city center was done at midnight with all of them expecting it to snow. Though it was freezing, they thoroughly enjoyed every moment of their video creation.
My First Heart To Heart
Even though I published interviews in my blog before, this is the first one that I actually did. I decided to start a YouTube channel to publish this and hopefully, heart-to-heart’s that I will do in the future. I am so happy to have chosen Susan Roy and her team for this talk because I could see the level of dedication that every one of them had put into bringing SR Creations into a YouTube channel that has released some amazing albums. My special thanks to Susan Roy for giving me this wonderful opportunity for my first Heart to Heart. Also to Geevarghese George, for the beautiful videography.
